POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Systems Support Analyst is responsible for data administration, maintenance and user support for client’s project and financial management reporting tool.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Service:
* Triage and respond to user-generated support tickets in a timely, professional and effective manner.
* Engage other support technicians as necessary to drive customer requests to rapid and total completion

Administration:
* Responsible for data administration of Clarity Server 8.1
* Create user accounts and ensure appropriate authentication methods and security measures are in place

Reporting, Documentation & Analysis:
* Develop and maintain Reports and Report definitions
* Provide ad hoc reporting needs to support business decisions and operations
* Maintain and update current procedural documentation
* Gather, analyze and document business requirements and develop detailed functional requirements for Clarity and Business Objects 
* Document and maintain current and future Project Financial and Resource Management processes 
* Perform gap and impact analysis of new or changing business processes
* Analyze and provide functional resolutions to any data issues in Business Objects Financial and Resource Management reports

Team Work:
* Work as part of a project and functional team to coordinate and execute excellent user support
* Communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to provide support-level feedback
* Work with the application support / development teams on major changes that may impact users
* Interact with development teams to ensure understanding of business requirements
* Support the successful implementation of technical solutions by providing business process analysis design, detailed requirements definition alignment and user acceptance facilitation

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
* Functional Experience: Years of experience in comparable position: 5 – 7 years
* Industry Experience / Cross-functional experience: Information Technology
* Minimum 3 years of Clarity (Niku) administration experience
* Strong understanding of database structures and table relationships
* Must have strong communication skills; recognized as a subject matter expert 
* Strong analytical, documentation, and knowledge transfer skills*
* Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills
* Highly organized individual with exceptional task management and follow-up skills
* Must be able to easily interface with the user community
* Must be an excellent team player 
* Must be an independent worker with superb time-management skills and foresight to deliver quality results with minimal guidance
* * Must have Mastery-level or Proficiency-level English verbal and writing skills

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following education and/or equivalent experience:
* BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
* Must have 3 years of extensive experience in Clarity (Niku) or other Project/Financial Management reporting tools

* Responsible for completing other work requirements or tasks that are requested by management when necessary to meet the goals and objectives of the department or company
