To Create Jenkins Build Job, please follow the below steps…

Before following the steps, you have to install jenkins in your localhost..
For more details refer link https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Installing+Jenkins+on+Ubuntu

From Reference Link: https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Building+a+software+project

* Start Jenkins and open Jenkins UI in browser. example: http://localhost:8080
* Click “New Job” link
* Enter Job name and choose appropriate Job type, I have used “Build a free-style software project” Job type
* Click “OK”
* Job configuration Page will open
* Check “This build is parameterized” option. Enter required input parameters to the build.
* Click ‘Add build step’ dropdown list
* Choose “Execute shell” option
* Enter your build shell script command
* To enable concurrent build check “Execute concurrent builds if necessary” checkbox (optional)
* Click “Save” button

Note: While doing concurrent automation build, please make sure any other build is not using the same server port number and XVFB server display value. If so, please update the parameters, it is configurable at run time.

The following package jenkins package to be installed:

wget -q -O – http://pkg.jenkins-ci.org/debian/jenkins-ci.org.key | sudo apt-key add –
sudo sh -c ‘echo deb http://pkg.jenkins-ci.org/debian binary/ > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/jenkins.list’
sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude install jenkins
